Juz 18 #Day18

Assalamualaikum and hi guys! I know I’m terribly behind track in doing this forgive me 😂😂

It’s already day 20 of Ramadhan and I’m posting for day 18 but whatevs, better late than never 🙄😂 So this sharing is about verse 19 from surah an-Nur in juz 18.

The literal translation of this verse is –“Those who love to broadcast such slanders among the believers will have a painful punishment in this life and in the Hereafter. Allah knows and you do not know.”

So, in this particular verse, the crime that Allah mentions is the crime of spreading inappropriateness, indecency and a lowering of the standards of shame among Muslims. And I think this inappropriate culture has become a thing in our society nowadays. The culture of making something viral even though it bring shames to some people. We might feel that it’s a kind of fun entertainment and we might as well feel like ‘What’s wrong with that? It’s just a joke, chill’. But, remember in this verse Allah says, ‘Allah knows and you do not know’. We might think it’s just a small unimportant matter but Allah knows the consequences of doing this and we don’t.

Especially when it comes to social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Youtube, you name it, there are such a lot of inappropriateness that were going on there. And people are sharing it tremendously until it becomes viral. So, the point here is, we’ve to think first before we share anything, either it’s a video, an image or even when we talk with other people.

Stop spreading slanders and shames among us. By just few clicks on the Internet, we can share anything that we want but be aware of the thing that we shared because if it’s inappropriate, worthless and bring shames, Allah says ‘Those who love to broadcast such slanders among the believers will have a painful punishment in this life and in the Hereafter’. The act might seems simple and easy but the consequences and the punishments are severe.

May we become one of those people who are aware of what we are spreading on and we are not among those who spread bad things in the society, amin 🙂

That’s all, bye!✨
